Lee Johnson

Lee Johnson is one of the most rapidly emerging composers of art music in the United States. His scores Lee Johnsonhave received both live and broadcast performances throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe. His awards include a 1991 Emmy Award, a 1993 ASCAP Award, the 1995 Georgia Artist of the Year Award, and a 1996 ADDY Award. Lee has scored for feature film; cable and network television; the symphony orchestra; ballet theater; musical theater; jazz, rock and pop; electronic multimedia; and interactive technologies. Lee also has composed for a variety of chamber ensembles, mixed voices, and solo voice. He currently serves as the Callaway Professor of Music and Music Department Chair at LaGrange College, GA.
