Medical MiracleIndiana Jones and the Last Crusade
[ Harrison Ford, Sean Connery ] Connery and Ford are the perfect battery, pitching a no-hit shut out. 1989.

In For ObservationIndiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
[ Harrison Ford, Kate Capshaw ] Fedora-festooned Ford's forays into farce fashion a flat follow-up to the fantastic first flick, but a fairly fab film for fans. 1984.

Under the KnifeI Love You To Death
[ Kevin Kline, Tracy Ullmann, Joan Plowright ] A Wasp and two Brits try to play Italian. Pass the oregano; this recipe's a bit off. 1990.

Dead On ArrivalI Spit On Your Grave
[ Camille Keaton, Eron Tabor ] When somebody invents a time machine, I'm gonna go back, relive my life, and skip this movie. 1977.

Dead On ArrivalIce Castles
[ Robby Benson, Lynn-Holly Johnson ] Figure skating. Robby Benson. Music by Marvin Hamlisch. I just can't wait 'til it comes out on laser disc! 1979.

Under the Knife Immortal Beloved
[ Gary Oldman, Jeroen Krabbe, Isabella Rossellini ] Bio-pic of the life of Beethoven tries too hard to be Oscar worthy and ends up being poofy and pale despite an earnest portrayal by Oldman. Instead of wasting your time here, watch the superior films that inspired the cheaply drawn screenplay: Citizen Kane and Amadeus. 1994.

In for Observation In the Name of the Father
[ Daniel Day-Lewis, Emma Thompson, Pete Postlethwaite ] In the role of a falsely accused IRA bomber, Day-Lewis is acting so hard, you just know he's gonna cop a big hernia. This mannered pomposity is balanced by a moving story and brilliant performances from Thompson and Postlethwaite. 1993.

Under the Knife Internal Affairs
[ Richard Gere, Andy Garcia, Nancy Travis ] Trite screenplay gives ample opportunity for Gere to emote from a laundry list of bad-guy cliches. As always, Nancy Travis is supremely appealing, redeeming an otherwise wasted effort. 1990.

Medical Miracle It's a Wonderful Life
[ Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed ] Slipping into the public domain was the best thing to happen to this unappreciated Capra film. Stations started running it at Christmas time as filler back in the '70s, and it gained a huge and loyal following. Now regarded as a can't-miss heartwarmer! 1946.
